The Acoustic Brew Concert Series is holding their 2021 summer season at the Boal Amphitheater.
The Acoustic Brew Concert Series, a volunteer music organization active since 1992, is partnering with the Columbus Chapel & Boal Mansion Museum to hold their summer season at the Boal Museum grounds.
The next show is 7pm Sunday July 11, and features Van Wagner,
a Pennsylvania favorite who mines our state's history and culture. He has been featured on the History Channel and WVIA TV, as well as Country Music Television (CMT); released 28 albums; and published the book "Coal Dust Rust and Saw Dust." Acoustic Brew loves Van so much that we're bringing him back for the fourth time. We love that on top of his deep knowledge, extensive experience, and numerous awards, he retains a boyish charm that delights audiences. His music is perfect for our new summer location at the Boal Mansion amphitheater.
The Acoustic Brew also invites music fans to join us early for a hike, a jam,
a short talk about Boal history by Museum Director Bob Cameron,
and food trucks on site for dinner!
Ticket info and details can be found at http://acousticbrew.org

Debbie Trudeau is a former member of the Syracuse Symphony and Glimmerglass Opera orchestra in New York, she moved to Pennsylvania in 2005. She has performed with the Altoona Symphony as concertmaster and soloist, the Williamsport Symphony, and the Nittany Valley Symphony. She currently performs with the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra, the Penn’s Woods Music Festival orchestra. Freelance highlights include performances with The Moody Blues, Tran Siberian Orchestra, Mannheim Steamroller, Anne Murray, and Aretha Franklin.
In 2006 she founded the Allegría Ensemble to create opportunities in duo, trio and quartet combinations. She stretches her viola skills with the Allegría String Quartet, composes new arrangements, and manages the ensemble’s performances.
Debbie currently teaches a full private lesson studio. She loves projects as a Teaching Artist exploring music connections with other disciplines, most recently at the Palmer Museum.
In her free time, Debbie enjoys scuba diving with sharks, other creatures, and her family.
Jonathan Dexter is a cellist, recording engineer, and conductor. Past performance highlights include the Jimmy Fallon Show, The View, Fox and Friends, Rachel Ray, and live on Sirius XM satellite radio. He has performed with Josh Groban, the Kerrville Folk Festival, the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and Mannheim Steamroller.
Jonathan is featured in many recordings including SONY Masterworks & Columbia Records recordings with singer Megan Hilty. He appears on the recent recording Irving Berlin: This is the Life with the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra.
Jon produced strings for the 2011-2013 seasons of NBC’s series Smash and composed the score to the short film Recess, an official

Jonathan performs locally with the Music at Penn’s Woods Festival orchestra, as principal cello with Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra. On the faculty of the School of Music at Penn State University, he also conducts the Central PA Youth Chamber Orchestra.
In the spring, the museum will present three more concerts, and the proceeds will be spent on refurbishing the 1922 Steinway Grand Piano in the ballroom, and the 19th century harp recently discovered in the basement of the museum.
